Paragories

Lamentation

 of the

World

I am involved in an attempt to write the opposite of all authorial malfeasance totaled in Kierkegaard, Kafka, Borges and Kill Author, or, as taken from the prophets who always find themselves caught between worlds, like Daniel, written half in Aramaic and half in Hebrew, who lived as native and captive, used Babylonian and Palestinian calendars belatedly realized. So as Kierkegaard says he is none of his voices, and as they say of Shakespeare he is none of his characters, I am all of mine in the opposite of pseudonymity and seek to show in the form undertaken, from which this submission came, but to publish it now will vitiate its place in the whole. So please withdraw, with my apologies. AE

IL CORPO GRIDA... Quello Che La Bocca Tace...
See More

THE BODY CRIES AND. .. What A Mouth Silent... The disease is a conflict between the personality and soul.
Many times ... Colds "cola" when the body does not cry and ... Throat pain "tangled" when you can't communicate the afflictions. The stomach "arde" when wraths are unable to exit. Diabetes "invades" when loneliness hurts. The body "get fat" when the dissatisfaction tightens. The headache "depresses" when doubts increase. The heart "loosens" when the meaning of life seems to end. The chest "squeezes" when pride enslaves. The "salt" when fear imprisons. Neuroses "cripples" when the child into bullying. Fever "heats up" when the defenses are exploiting the frontiers of immunity. Knees "hurt" when your pride doesn't bend. Cancer "kills" when you tired of living. And your silent pain? How to speak in your body? The disease is not bad, warns you that you're wrong way. It seems nice to share this message: the ROAD to happiness is not in an upright position. There are curves calls equivocal. There are stoplights called friends. Safety lights called family. And everything is done if you have a spare wheel called decision. A powerful engine called love. A good insurance called Faith. And plenty of fuel called patience ... (Translated by Bing)

Here:  was worshipped for thousands of years a water god of various names, Ea, Adapa and Uanna. The Greek rendering of the aqueous Sumero-Babylonian god Uanna, Oannes (Ὡάννης), is essentially the same as Ioannes (Ἰωάννης) or "John" in the Greek of the New Testament. This ancient Babylonian deity had been discussed in some detail by the priest Berosus in the third century BCE, reflecting his continued importance to the people of what is now Iraq, as Oannes was said to have emerged from the Persian Gulf there many thousands of years ago to bring civilization.

Oannes's role as water god is an indication also of his solar nature, as his emergence from the sea occurred at sunrise on a daily basis. This solar nature is important to keep in mind as we discuss the later aquatic figure of Ioannes/John the Baptist.

Poem written to his lover yet in ecstacy

migrated out of Africa and became the only lineage to survive away from humanity's home continent.

"...And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia; to fulfil the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had been paid her sabbaths; for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years. (2 Chronicles 36:20-21)[13]

  • Books of Kings: "...[Isaiah speaking] And this is the sign for you: This year you eat what grows of itself, and the next year what springs from that, and in the third year, sow and reap and plant vineyards and eat their fruit. And the survivors of the House of Judah that have escaped shall regenerate its stock below and produce boughs above." {2 Kings 19:20-30}.

Isaiah is informing King Hezekiah that if he will agree to observe the Sabbath year that coming fall (701 BCE), and the Jubilee [Yovel] the year after (700 BCE), and then resume planting and harvesting in the following year (699 BCE) then God will act against Sennacherib's siege of Jerusalem. {see 2Kings 19:32-37} There is no other occasion on the Hebrew calendar when two years of scheduled non-planting occur back-to-back. Hezekiah apparently agrees, as the siege is diverted. Since the date of Sennacherib's invasion of Judah and siege against Jerusalem is known to archaeologists as the spring and summer of 701 BCE, this is evidence that the dates the Rabbinate considers to be the Sabbath years and Jubilee years are incorrect — the last Jubilee would have been 2001 (because there was no year "0" between 1 BCE and 1 CE, and the most recent Sabbatical year therefore began on Rosh Chodesh Tishri in September 2008.

Orpheus Descending

Orpheus fires his red shirt melting

in a storm of flakes piling

till an igloo forms, Orpheus, torn

to be a counselor of the age

by maenads at his door,

shouts YOU LOVE THE WORLD

 but they take it wrong

and lick the jar of lion apocalypses

that love ingredients of higher mind.

Cartilaginous minds pull out all stops

 to spiritless bodies and soul

to comfort none can give THE WORLD

for  WHAT IS ITS LOVE?

The ash of Pompeii embalms

body after body of unspeakable clay

starved to love the world.

in a simpler time of butterflies

now in hell  two minds

would say I love the world

  the way a foreigner speaks

in fantasies of thought disturbed,

The world rotates fast.

Swimmers in the eye,

blood pressure too high,

in that delirium we have ID to pass,

so somebody will know in Rome

Buckets of columbines bloom streets

dissolved that float intact

the way a small stroke

after walks its dog,

But still we carry faculties none.

to  tell the spirit tales

Figs

The eater and the eaten dispute the rind

of chariots, trains, and horns of concrete barbs.

Antennas, grey dawn, chains long

cast lots to own the men  No-Cleveland

and No-York bought and sold.

Never  enough to own the never ends

Word whips the wheel, rays light from a hand,

ceramic booties for the feet of clay

make plain the sacrifice to pray

a gun to the power of mind,

sacrifice to a net, incense burn

to powers of idol when Cleveland comes,

swift as evening wolves and sand.

Beat your breast thinking for yourself again.

Shaker Heights fell, when Ohio was lost,

and outland toward the sea, titanium

Akron rooted up and drew like simple water

 from strongholds of the  figs.

Urn Burial

"Within the hour I will be born.

Literally three hours after 11:22,

or 2 hours 58 minutes, to keep track of those

When my father bawls down East River Drive

at the top of his lungs, singing. What did he sing?

For God So Loved the World!

Welcome to the new heaven and the new earth.

To your right you see all things done in the body.

There in the center is the spiritual destroyed.

On the left forgiveness for your sins so great

that it covers the world."

Captivity

Alone for or Gaza Akron was mistaken,

Manhattan desolate tread out the day.

L.A. saw the global captive stars shakes.

out and tread the clay.

Mortar down, make strong the brick,

locusts and canker-worms supply

Nations and  glory of the Queen,

stripped and led away.

Fig wombat merchants want the siege.

Ilusas

To name the stone and metal whirling,

Not just winter property, but snow,

Who among us feels the burning

bones that wash ashore?

Parchment is in short supply,

overwritten in a different ink,

Ilusas fired on top of ancient texts

Prepare the wearing of the Word.

Bound in boxes, head and hand,

we are the Word that underlies

you pray these years will have,

beauty and sorrow for our sons,

our sins, and the salvation of our world.
